Ghost Festival
Susie stared at Grandpa Turtle for a long time.
Martin crouched down and asked, "What's wrong?"
Susie pointed to the turtle and said, "It said someone wants to compete with me in building a grave."
Martin paused for a moment and remained silent.
Can this joke still be used?
But in the next second, Susie put away Grandpa Turtle and happily ran back.
Whatever happens in the future, she is optimistic about it. She will deal with it as it comes.
"Uncle Martin, hurry up! Grandma Chloe is waiting for you to come back for afternoon tea!"
Martin remained silent.
As the 14th of July approached, after the lunar Valentine's Day, the lunar July always gave people an indescribable feeling.
Susie made everyone an Artemisia sachet. Martin was diamond-shaped, Dad's was square, Grandma Chloe's was heart-shaped, and Lucy and the others' were star-shaped.
There were others, and Susie had Martin send them to Paul and the others.
"And Uncle Jonathan too..."
Susie took a round sachet and ran quickly to Mrs. Alana's room. "Grandma Chloe, let's go to the set to see Uncle Jonathan!"
A few days ago, Uncle Jonathan said he was back, and the set was in the downtown area.
Mrs. Alana looked at the time and didn't have anything else to do today, so she nodded and said, "Okay."
She hadn't even visited her own son's set yet!
Mrs. Alana suddenly got excited and said, "Wait for Grandma Chloe, Grandma Chloe will change her clothes. We can't embarrass Uncle Jonathan!"
After all, she is the mother of a famous actor.
She must dress up like a queen.
Susie ran back to her room again and said, "Hmm, we can't embarrass Uncle Jonathan!"
The little one ran to her closet and looked at rows of princess dresses.
"This one, or this one, or this one!"
"Alex, which one do you think is better?"
Alex flew to a green dress and nudged it with his beak. "To live an acceptable life, a little green on your head is needed! Green, green!"
Susie said, "Okay!"
She picked up the green dress.
After getting dressed, she searched through her dressing table and found a pair of green tree-shaped hair clips.
She put them on her head, muttering to herself, "I can't embarrass Uncle Jonathan, I can't embarrass Uncle Jonathan."
Then she found a pair of green shoes and felt satisfied with her appearance, but felt like something was missing.
"Alex, come here!" Alex was also green!
The two happily went out together, but were stopped by Lucy who quickly ran out.
Susie asked, "Lucy, have you finished your homework?"
Lucy quickly covered Susie's mouth and said, "My dad went to the bathroom! Run!"
Susie asked, "What?" Just then, Wade came out and asked where they were going, and he decided to bring his ghost-catching net just in case.
Mrs. Alana, elegantly dressed in a black dress and a large-brimmed hat, came out with a handbag.
Since being in a wheelchair, she hadn't worn a dress or dressed up, but now she was excited and wanted to go shopping with her old friends.
She took Wade and Lucy along, figuring that since they were all kids, Susie could come too.
As for Lucy's homework, the old woman decided to teach her a lesson about playing now and working later.
Jonathan just finished filming a scene and opened a bottle of water to take a sip.
The TV drama he was filming is based on the Republican era, and he was wearing a strict military green uniform. Feeling too hot, he unbuttoned one button and tugged at it.
The actress playing the female lead was staring at him intently.
She couldn't help but be impressed when he effortlessly undid the button with one hand, and his Adam's apple bobbed up and down as he drank water.
Just then, another actress who played a minor character in the drama came over and asked in a high-pitched voice, "Niki sister, do you want to drink milk tea? I'll treat everyone!"
This actress, Colette, had initially tried to forcibly create a relationship between her character and Jonathan's.
She sounded like something was stuck in her throat when she spoke, and her voice was high-pitched.
Jonathan glanced at her and almost didn't remember who she was, but it didn't matter.
The actress playing the female lead, Niki, plastered a fake smile on her face and said, "Oh, Clara wants to treat us to milk tea. No need, I just weighed myself yesterday and I'm already 92 pounds, up 0.5 pounds. I'm too fat, so I won't drink it."
Colette was crestfallen and asked, "What about Teacher Murray?"
Jonathan didn't even lift his eyelids and said, "No need."
Colette bit her lip and was about to say something when Niki pointed to the script and said in surprise, "Wow, Teacher Murray, your scene coming up is the one where you get caught! What should we do? I don't know how to act in this scene!"
She leaned in and said, "Teacher Murray, can you teach me? Look, I don't know anything!"
Jonathan remained silent.
Colette had to walk away.
At the same time, Niki's expression changed, and she rolled her eyes. "Damn clinger! Blech!"
Jonathan didn't say anything. Why do women change their minds so quickly?
Just then, the assistant came in and said that someone had come to visit. Before Jonathan could react, a green little ball came flying towards him and landed in his arms.
"Uncle Jonathan!"
Susie exclaimed joyfully as she held up a sachet.
"Susie came to give you a sachet!"
Jonathan looked at Susie, who was dressed all in green, with green hair accessories and shoes. The sachet was also green.
A green parrot was perched on her shoulder and said, "Yo yo, check it out, a set of yummy Crepes!"
Jonathan remained silent.
What was this supposed to imply?
