Yama's Subordinate
Zion was afraid that he would never see Susie again, nor his father, brothers, grandparents, and uncles...
He realized that he couldn't bear to part with anything from the Murray family, not even the chatty Alex or the newly arrived Melina.
Susie saw Zion cry so hard, she comforted him and said, "It's okay, you are back, right?"
Suddenly, Mitch Dubin asked, "Who is the person who ask you to write your name? Do you get a look at what he looks like?"
Zion didn't expect a "ghost" floating beside him!
This scared him so much that his pupils shrank, and his heart rate on the monitor instantly rise to 120.
The machine sounded an alarm...
Wade was stunned and asked, "What's wrong with you, Zion?"
Did he see a ghost?
Nurses quickly came and checked the monitor. Then, they began ushering people out after checking the monitor and said, "The patient just come back from surgery and needs to rest. All family members leave out now!"
Martin and the others nodded and said a few words to Alana before leaving one by one.
Alana and David stayed for a day and a night, while the others went to work. In the end, it was Colt Robson, Paul who took the leave, and Susie who took turns staying at the hospital.
Paul escorted everyone out, leaving only Susie and Mitch Dubin in the ward.
Susie said, "Paul, this is Mitch Dubin. He is my master!"
Zion replied with silence.
He realized that Susie had mentioned Mitch Dubin before and she talked to Mitch Dubin while alone sometimes.
Mitch Dubin was quite handsome with his narrow, long eyes, high nose, and perfect face...but unfortunately, Zion couldn't see any of that. He only saw the three words "he's a ghost."
Especially the stark contrast between his pale complexion and vermillion lips makes Zion even more frightened.
Mitch Dubin continued to ask, "Do you still remember the person who ask you to write your name?"
Zion's head shook slightly and said, "I don't remember."
Mitch Dubin asked, "You don't remember anything, like their height, weight, and gender?"
Zion nodded.
Mitch Dubin felt that this matter was serious. Even if it was a wandering soul heading to hell, no one could be stood at the intersection and asked for people's names. Almost everyone who wrote their names down there had nothing good happen to them.
Who was that person?
Mitch Dubin asked again, "What else do you see?"
Zion thought for a moment and said weakly, "I also see Susie..."
Susie was startled and exclaimed, "Do I go to hell too?"
Zion shook his head and said, "I don't know. I enter a big palace and see that it is filled with sculptures."
"There are Ox-Head and Horse-Face, Black and White Impermanence... and the Ghost Commander, with a Leopard Tail, Bird Beak, Fish Gills, and a Wasp."
Mitch Dubin was surprised and asked, "Do you recognize them?"
Zion was also very surprised and said, "I also don't know why I can recognize them..."
He wanted to say that maybe he had played too many games and these things existed in his subconscious mind without him realizing it.
But then he realized that he had never played a game with such characters before.
Mitch Dubin's expression became more and more solemn and said, "Go on."
Zion took a rest and continued in a low voice, "Then I come to the front of the big palace and see the three characters 'Yama Temple' hanging above it. There is a super large desk and Yama's throne, and Susie is sitting on the throne."
"She says I couldn't come here and then slap me away. That's why I wake up."
Susie was amazed. She had sat on Yama's throne?
She didn't know she was Yama, but she felt it was too powerful.
Mitch Dubin pondered for a moment before saying, "Based on your description, you must have gone down there. That's strange."
Generally, when someone fugues, their soul will be strolled in the human world for a few rounds before returning to their body upon waking up.
It's rare for a soul to go down to hell and came back, not to mention Zion went to the Yama Palace.
There are ten Yama’s palaces in hell, each in charge of a different realm. The Yama was responsible for life and death and was the head of the ten Yama."
Since Susie arrived, the business of the Yama Palace had been shared with other palaces. Only a few of her subordinates were doing "routine maintenance" work—like him, who often went to other palaces for meetings.
Now, the statues were the only ones left in the Yama Palace.
Zion asked, "So what am I like?"
Mitch Dubin explained, "There are ten hell generals under the Yama, namely Black and White Impermanence, Ox-Head and Horse-Face, Ghost Commander, Day God, Night Go, Leopard Tail, Bird Beak, Fish Gills, and Wasp. What you see are statues standing in the main palace."
Susie counted on her fingers. Her mind went off track and she asked, "Why are these names so strange... What does Leopard Tail mean? What does Bird Beak mean? Are there also Fish Gills and Wasps in hell?"
Mitch Dubin explained one by one.
After listening, Susie said, "Wait, that's eleven if we count them all."
Zion also had this doubt. Black and White Impermanence and Ox-Head and Horse-Face added up to four. If they were counted as one, then there wouldn't be enough for the ten hell generals, there would only be nine.
Mitch Dubin said, " Black and White Impermanence count as one."
Zion and Susie looked at each other in confusion.
It's strange, why like that?
"Why aren't Ox-Head and Horse-Face count as one?" Susie asked curiously, "This isn't fair at all. Why do Ox-Head and Horse-Face count as two while Black and White Impermanence only count as one? Why can't we call them the nine hell generals? Or if we add Black and White Impermanence to make it the eleven hell generals?"
Mitch Dubin twitched the corner of his mouth and didn’t know what to say.
He also didn't know, if want to know, just go ask the Yama.
Mitch Dubin glanced at Susie and ignored her question. He continued to say, "There are more than just these subordinates of Yama, there are also the Four Judges, Lethe witch, Town God, and countless Hell Soldiers."
Susie replied, "Oh!"
Zion exclaimed and said, "I learn something new."
Mitch Dubin asked, "So, Zion, which one are you?"
Mitch Dubin stared at Zion after finishing his speech.
Little Yama had just gone through a great ordeal, and he didn't know any details yet.
He only knew that he had to hold onto this booklet, even though his encounter with Susie is a "bump".
Zion was confused. What was Mitch Dubin talking about? Why couldn't he understand?
Susie was also dizzy and asked, "Mitch Dubin, what are you talking about?"
Mitch Dubin looked at Zion, who did not react at all, and felt that he might have overthought things…
The Four Judges, Black and White Impermanence, and Ox-Head and Horse-Face were all present. They were all doing their jobs as corporate slaves.
Lethe witch - Megan had already appeared.
For the wandering stars – it was still unclear about the Day God and Night God.
It was uncertain as for the Ghost Commander.
As for the Town God... the Town Gods of every place were present, and the hell soldiers were naturally guarded there.
Leopard Tail, Bird Beak, Fish Gills... Mitch Dubin twitched the corner of his mouth whenever he thought of something.
"Forget it." Mitch Dubin rubbed his forehead and spoke. "Anyway, even if I explain it now, you won't understand."
Susie rolled her eyes.
Okay, here comes this sentence again.
What's the difference between this sentence and "Don't ask too many questions, child!"!
Zion suddenly realized and said, "You mean... I am one of the subordinates of the Yama?"
He widened his eyes in surprise.
Wow, awesome!
Brilliant!
Was this hell game not as fun as mobile games?
And there's no need to worry about being 'online dating' by other girls!
"I must be the Ghost Commander!" Zion said proudly. He felt that his scalp was not so sore anymore.
He often pondered in the night what his purpose was for coming into this world and what mission he had to accomplish.
You see, wasn't this it!
Mitch Dubin was speechless and said, "Hey hey..."
Zion exclaimed happily and said, "Susie, I must be the Ghost Commander. If you die and go to hell, I'll take care of you!"
Susie also said happily, "Yes, yes, yes!"
Mitch Dubin was speechless and said, "Hey hey..."
Zion's eyes shone brightly and said, "In the future, wait for me to go down first, and then I'll help you take a shortcut to the Yama's place, and secure an official position for you. Then you can die!"
Susie exclaimed happily and said, "Yes, yes, yes, yes!!"
Mitch Dubin was quiet.
